Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate has proferred anti-dote to fighting crimes in the Nigerian society, saying wealth creation is the answer.
In his Twitter handle on Friday, Atiku wrote “The most effective way to fight crime is to provide opportunity to create wealth, because poverty is conducive to crime.
“If you elect me as your President, I will equip the security forces to fight terrorism and crime. Additionally, I will do what I do best – job creation,”
Governor Dankwambo, the Gombe Governor on Thursday tweeted “Atiku is Mr Jobs. Atiku is Mr Restructuring. Atiku is Mr Detribalized. Atiku is Mr Good Governance. Atiku is Mr Industrialization. Atiku is Mr Rule of Law.”
In another development, Doyin Okupe, a one-time aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan tweeted on Friday “In 2015 the Commaders of Pmb’s victory Army were: Atiku, Tinubu,Saraki,&Kwankwaso. Today 3 out of 4 Commaders hv deserted. The 2019 Battle has been lost b4 it started.”
