After months of rumour, Nigeria’s ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan has purportedly joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential race for the 2023 general election.
This follows purchase of the nomination form and expression of interest worth N100 million by members of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Rearers Association (MAGBAN) to enable him to participate in the forthcoming presidential primary.
The group, DAILY POST gathered purchased the form for the ex-president on Monday.
Though Jonathan is yet to officially declare for APC, he will join more than 25 other presidential aspirants in going for the plum job during the May 29 and 30 presidential primary.

Recall that in 2015 Jonathan who campaigned for re-election under Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was roundly defeated by President Muhammadu Buhari of APC in the presidential election.
However, Jonathan, while addressing some youths who stormed his house a few weeks ago, urging him to join the presidential race, said he was not ready.
At the moment, Jonathan has not officially accepted the gesture for him to join the race.
