The 2019 Miss Nigeria beauty pageant has been crowned.
Etsanyi Tukura who is Miss Beauty Taraba State was announced among the 18 finalists at the grand-finale of the 43rd edition of the beauty pageant on Saturday, which held at the Eko Convention Center, Lagos, Nigeria.
Tukura who will receive a luxurious apartment and a car as part of the gift for winning the pageant took the crown from Chidimma Aaron, a model from Enugu state, who is the beauty pageant for 2018.
The prestigious pageant which took place at the Eko Convention Center was hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Kemi ‘Lala’ Akindoju.
Among the judges were Nollywood diva, Rita Dominic, former housemates of the reality show, BBNaija, Ike Onyema, Lanre Da Silva Ajayi, and Africa’s leading beauty and makeup entrepreneur, Tara Durotoye.
The occasion was attended by the Lagos state first lady, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu as well as other high profile dignitaries.
Miss Nigeria is an annual beauty pageant show which showcases positive attributes of Nigerian women and awards university scholarships. The winner portrays exemplary qualities and serves as a role model for young women in the country.
