Two new COVID-19 deaths have been reported and 343 confirmed infections in Nigeria, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
Of the confirmed cases, Federal Capital Territory recorded the highest number of 123 followed by Lagos and Kaduna 106 and 72 cases respectively on Thursday.
In its tweet, NCDC said “On the 3rd of December 2020, 343 new confirmed cases and 2 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
“The 343 new cases are reported from 14 states – FCT-123, Lagos-106, Kaduna-72, Nasarawa-14, Rivers-5, Bauchi-4, Imo-4, Ogun-4, Ekiti-3, Edo-2, Oyo-2, Plateau-2, Akwa Ibom-1 and Kano-1.”
On the caseloads of the pandemic, it stated “Till date, 68,303 cases have been confirmed, 64,291 cases have been discharged and 1,179 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC) activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities,” the health agency added.
