For the first time, Ondo State led 18 states including Federal Capital Territory with 120 cases followed by Borno (41), Ebonyi (37), Benue (33), Plateau (30), FCT (29), Nasarawa (25), Ogun (25), Edo (24), Osun (24).

    Others were Katsina (22), Kaduna (21), Niger (20), Kwara (14), Ekiti (13), Yobe (10), Oyo (4), Bayelsa (1), and Jigawa (1).

”Till date, 146184 cases have been confirmed, 120838 cases have been discharged and 1752 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

”A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.

‘’Our discharges today include 1,040 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines,’’ it stated.

Already, ”NCDC is aware of confirmed #Ebola cases in Guinea and is assessing the risk to Nigeria

”We’re in touch with @WHO @OoasWaho @AfricaCDC who are coordinating efforts in the region

”A public health advisory will be issued soon,’’ the public health agency tweeted.

Meanwhile, Chikwe Ihekweazu, the NCDC Director-General tweeted on Sunday ”We need to think about vaccine development, not as a plan with a single “endgame” – but as an ongoing battle between science & viruses.’’
