A Twitter writer has taken exception to the attitude of some Nigerian leaders flying out to frolick in foreign countries despite a myriad of challenges facing the country.
Abayomi Oluwaseun, the Twitter writer who seems to be drumming support for Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate tweeted ”Atiku is in Dubai cooling off Buhari is in Portugal feeling shock Wike is in Turkey enjoying clean environment Ikpeazu is in Turkey enjoying good road EKWEREMMADU sef dey Uk Tinubu is in France enjoying best medical Me and U dey where? Nigeria.’’
President Muhammadu Buhari as the head of a nine-man Nigerian team left last Tuesday on a four-day state visit to Portugal at the invitation of President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

Next is the Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abubakar Atiku is in Dubai on vacation.
The Presidential Candidate and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has travelled out of the country to Paris, France.
According to his media office, the trip followed a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday morning.
While in Paris, the capital of France, Tinubu will hold some important meetings, his spokesperson, Tunde Rahman said in a statement.
However, multiple sources told SaharaReporters that the APC Presidential candidate was going to Paris to attend to his medical needs.
Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers, is currently in Turkey on “vacation”.
The governor shared photos of him in Turkey on his social media handles on Tuesday.
“Finally enjoying a much needed vacation in Turkey with my brother, @GovernorIkpeazu,” he wrote.
Confirming the development to TheCable, Kelvin Ebiri, spokesman to Wike, said the Rivers governor is in Turkey “on vacation”.
Also with the Rivers governor is Okezie Ikpeazu, governor of Abia.
The Rivers governor’s trip to Turkey comes weeks after he participated in the presidential primary — Atiku Abubakar, former vice-president, polled 371 votes and was declared the winner of the primary, while Wike, his closest challenger, secured 237 votes.
Mr Wike had been spotted with Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, in Turkey. Another picture on Thursday showed the two governors and their Oyo State counterpart, Seyi Makinde, together in Turkey.
