Yusuf Buhari, the only son of President Muhammadu Buhari, involved in a bike accident last night around Gwarimpa in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, is in a stable condition, family has maintained.
Naija News learnt that Yusuf broke a limb and had an injury to the head as a result. He has undergone surgery at a clinic in Abuja. He is in a stable condition.
A statement obtained from Buhari’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu, stated that “The President and his wife, Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, are thankful to Nigerians for the good wishes and prayers for their son.”
Yusuf bagged his Master’s Degree in the United Kingdom in July 2016.
He and Zahra graduated from the University of Surrey, Guildford.
Meanwhile, Abubakar Atiku has sympathized with the Buhari’s family over the accident involving Yusuf, and prayed for his speedy recuperation.
Policemen were seen guarding the General Hospital, Abuja where Yusuf was being treated.
