A Nigerian Gospel singer, Mr. Progress Effiong has found his bag containing personal belongings he lost in a Keke motor cycle he boarded in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Effiong who stood with the operator on his Facebook page Thursday evening was smiling after the operator called him on his telephone number he gave after losing his bag in the unknown Keke.

The operator is not richer than N150,000 after he returned the bag with more donations as the popular Gospel musician posted the operator’s account for kind-hearted people to reward him for the gesture.

Inim Jnr, a Director of Dreams Alive Christian Community, Mbierebe Obio in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area joined the search for the Keke operator said to have picked Effiong to his destination.

Writing on his Facebook page, he said ‘‘Progress Effiong posted on his page yesterday that he has lost a bag containing hard currencies, laptop, hard discs, and assorted invaluable items inside a Keke & that he had no trace it means of identifying the Keke nor the rider.

‘‘He gave out his number and I called him live on our 5am radio broadcast on Passion 94.5fm.

After the announcement that anyone who has traces of the missing bag should return, A Keke rider showed up with the bag, with every thing complete.

Appreciation of 100k went to the Keke rider.

May God bless him& bless every good conscience person reading this post. Amen.’’

He pledged to reward the operator with N50,000 if he returns the bad safely.”

However, Effiong wrote Thursday evening ‘‘I’ve retrieved my bag. Thank you everyone who shared the post and also called. This is the Tricycle driver Kingdom John.

‘‘He reached out to me via the contact I shared on my post, and directed me on how to reach him. God did this for me through everyone of you. I’m grateful. I have missed so many calls, thank you so much for the love.

A lot of people in the comment section are asking for his account details to be a blessing to him. So I’m editing this post to include it.’’

From Uyo Local Government Area, Effiong’s popular songs include ”Mmedi” ”Akam mmi” ”Ima Abasi”and ”God when.”
