The Chairman who promised to do more to galvanise the development hub of the area stated that she was driven by passion to embark on the projects.

Mrs Charles reiterated the need to be guided by Basic Infrastructure, Empowerment, Security Development and Transparency (BEST) Agenda in the execution of more projects and provision of selfless services to the people in the area.

Earlier, the local government Council under her leadership had inaugurated Health Care facility at Ikot Antuk in Midim Clan, public convenience at Abak new market, and an administrative block housing the Traditional Rulers Council, NULGE and Agriculture offices on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

The Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Udeme Otong, who inaugurated the projects, commended the Council boss for positively turning around the infrastructural fortunes of the area within her first 100 days on the saddle, describing her performance as satisfactory.

Mr. Otong used the opportunity to thank the state governor for awarding construction of numerous road projects in Abak, and called on the people to support and cooperate with the council chairman to help her deliver more dividends of electioneering campaign in the area.
