    APC Govs Pay Sallah Homage To Buhari In Daura

    President Muhammadu Buhari and governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Tuesday met behind closed door in the President’s country home at Daura, Katsina State.
    Matters or issues discussed at the meeting which lasted for hours were not disclosed to newsmen but it was learned that the governors came to Daura to pay Sallah the President Sallah homage.
    They prayed for his good health and many more years of active service to the nation.
    President Muhammadu Buhari in his response, expressed gratitude to the governors for the Sallah homage.
    Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State had earlier received the governors who arrived the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International airport in batches before they proceeded to Daura to meet with the President.
    Present at the meeting were governors of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari, Nasir el-Rufai (Kaduna), Abubakar Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Mohammed Badaru (Jigawa) Babajide Sanwoolu (Lagos), Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti) and Godwin Obaseki (Edo).
    The meeting was also attended by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Mr. Boss Mustapha, Director-General, Progressive Governors Forum, Salihu Lukman, and Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, among others.
