Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has lamented that the present administration before getting into power pledged to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty.
The under All Progressives Congress (APC) under the Muhammadu Buhari administration, he said, has instead thrown 133 million Nigerians into poverty.
In a tweet he shared, Sani noted that they ‘‘promised to lift 100m people out of poverty, but threw 133 million into deeper poverty.’’

He tweeted, ‘‘They promised to lift One hundred million people out of poverty; now they have officially thrown One hundred and thirty three million people into deeper poverty.’’
