Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has filed a N5 billion lawsuit against Senator Onyekachi Nwaebonyi before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, accusing him of defamation over several alleged false statements made during media interviews in March 2025. Four popular Nigerian gospel ministers have d!ed in a fatal motor accident along the Ikorodu–Sagamu Road in Ogun State. The massacre of more than 52 residents together with arson in the Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State has attracted condemnations and outrage from Nigerians.
