A 400-level Civil Engineering student of Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) Calabar, has been knocked down and killed by a reckless driver in the main campus of the university. Joseph Agbo was said to have died when a drunk driver who was on speed lost control and rammed into pavement where he was sitting. Eight countries in the world have banned Boeing 737 Max 8 from flying over their airspace to ensure passengers’ safety. The countries include China, Ethiopia, Argentina, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Cayman Island and United Kingdom. They join a long list of countries in suspending the plane, including India. The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has won a commanding majority of the ninth Senate to be inaugurated on June 9, 2019.
