The Federal High Court in Abuja, Wednesday, ordered Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe and two other persons to produce missing Nnamdi Kanu in court or pay N100 million each. Abaribe and two other persons, who stood sureties for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, to within two months, pay the sum of N100 million each into the court’s account for their inability to produce the missing Biafran activist in court. The solid minerals sector contributed N43.22 billion to government coffers in 2016, Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) said. In a report released by the agency on Tuesday, it was also recorded that Nigeria’s solid minerals production jumped by 33 per cent in the same year, with Ogun state taking the lead in production and revenue receipt.
