The Federal High Court, Lagos, Tuesday, granted Paul Usoro, the President of Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, bail in the sum of N250 million with one surety in like sum. The EFCC preferred a 10-count charge against Mr Usoro. The case which is before Justice Muslim Hassan was first heard on December 10, 2018. Security operatives have blocked the entrance into the National Assembly complex preventing workers from gaining entry. The security agents including the Nigeria Police and Department of State Services (DSS) operatives on Tuesday barricaded the main entrance with patrol vans. The presence of the security operatives has led to restricted access at the three arms zone gate. Operatives are frisking persons including journalists and construction workers before they are allowed entrance.
