Nigeria is ranked 148th country in Corruption Perception Index (CPI) in the world, according to a report by Transparency International (TI). A report released Wednesday by the Global anti-corruption watchdog to mark its 25 years of operations since its establishment in 1995 indicates that corruption was getting worse in Nigeria. A man who allegedly strangled his wife to death in their apartment in Agemowo area of Badagry, last December, has appeared before Magistrate court, Lagos for murder.
