Ikot Ebon village in Itu local government area in Akwa Ibom State has rejected the establishment of a proposed nuclear plant in their community. Tragedy struck at Gariki, Ugwuoba in Oji River local government area of Enugu State Saturday when the soil two persons were excavating collapsed and killed them at the site. A birthday party in Ondo town turned bloody weekend as an alleged lover of the celebrator was reportedly stabbed by another lover over argument on who was to dance first with her.
