A 34-year-old single mother has been arrested by Anti-narcotic agents at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, while she was on the point of smuggling illicit substances out of the country. A murder suspect, allegedly involved in the killing of Chief Eyo Eyo Bassey, has reportedly escaped from police custody in Bakassi Police Divisional headquarters. Ikot Ebon village in Itu local government area in Akwa Ibom State has rejected the establishment of a proposed nuclear plant in their community.
