Five persons were reportedly beheaded in a land tussle between the villages of Bubuo and Okwabang in Boki local governemt area of Cross River State. The battle which started Saturday has led to the destruction of many houses and livestock. Indications emerged last night that no fewer than 145 persons have been arrested in various parts of the North, following the crackdown ordered by the federal government on suspected militias causing mass deaths in some states in the region.
