More than 30 people have died after a bus veered off a bridge and into a river in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Another 10 passengers were injured in the crash, which happened at about 6 a.m. local time in Sawai Madhopur district, 235 miles south of New Delhi. The bus rammed through the bridge’s railing during an overtaking manoeuvre, police officer B L Soni said. Rescuers had recovered 32 bodies from the river. Tunisia on Sunday suspended Emirates Airlines flights after a public outcry over security measures in the United Arab Emirates targeting women from the North African country. The transport ministry said it had “decided to suspend” Emirates flights to Tunis “until the airline is able to find the appropriate solution to operate its flights in accordance with international law and agreements”.
