The Federal High Court, Lagos has granted social media influencer, Blessing Okoro, better known as Blessing CEO, N10 million bail for alleged cyber-bullying. Blessing CEO was arraigned by the Lagos State Police Command before Justice Yelim Bogoro on six count charges bordering on alleged cyber-bullying, libel, and exhibiting uncensored movies. Cross River High Court, Calabar has ordered the State Government to pay the paramount ruler of Etung Local Government Area of Cross River State N50 million damages for illegitimate removal from office. The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) distributed N9.3 trillion to 36 states in Nigeria  in 43 months, during the second tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. Data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of the 43 monthly reports of the FAAC, indicated that from June 2019 to December 2022, Delta State got the highest allocation, followed by Akwa Ibom and Rivers States.
