Brazil football legend and three-time World Cup winner Pele, has died at age 82. Pele had been treated for colon cancer, following surgery to remove a tumour in September 2021, and had required regular medical treatment. Joseph “Jo Mersa” Marley, the grandson of reggae exponent Bob Marley, has died at the age of 31, US media reported. The distraught mother of Bolanle Raheem, a lawyer who was shot dead in Lagos, said she hawked oranges to send her to study Law in the university.
