The Federal Government is set to implement five per cent inclusive excise duty on telecommunications services in Nigeria, a move that will make Nigerians pay 12.5 per cent tax on telecommunications services. The Kano State High Court Friday sentenced to death by hanging the Proprietor of Nobel Kids Academy and North West Preparatory School, Abdulmalik Tanko. The Independent National Electoral Commission has affirmed that no candidate violated the provisions of Section 115 of the Electoral Act 2022 relating to the nomination of candidates.
