The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board vowed to blacklist any vendors or its agents who violate its rules for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination exercise. The JAMB Registrar, Prof Is’haq Oloyede, stated this in Ibadan on Saturday, while monitoring the registration exercise at some centres. The Ukrainian Government has approved the evacuation of Nigerian students stranded in Sumy following the invasion of Russia into the country. Sumy is a city in north-eastern Ukraine and the capital of Sumy Oblast. These are Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC), Kaduna Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited (KRPC) and Warri Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited (WRPC). Policy Alert says it is alarmed by Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly’s haste to pass the controversial 2022 supplementary budget sent by the state government. The organisation made the call Friday following reports from the State Assembly on Thursday that the Executive arm of the Akwa Ibom State government had sent a supplementary appropriation bill of N45 billion to augment the initial N586.88 billion, which will bring the total revised budget to N631.38 billion if approved.
