The state cleared them as well as the school following the Legal Advice of the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, Ms. Adetutu Oshinusi. After 16 days, a two-year-old boy abducted by a 14-year-old housemaid in Lagos State has been returned by the Ogun State police command to his parents. The Indigenous People of Biafra has banned the recitation of the Nigerian national anthem and the slaughtering of Fulani cows in Biafraland – South-East. This was contained in a New Year message by IPOB director of state, Chika Edoziem. Instead, Edoziem said only the Biafran national anthem should be taught in schools. Tension flared in Afaha Oku community in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State as angry youths descended and burnt two Hausa scrap metal dealers for killing a youth of the area.
