The National Executive Committee of Peoples Democratic Party has approved the recommendation of its committee to zone national chairmanship to the North. Tanzanian-born novelist Abdulrazak Gurnah has won the 2021 Nobel prize in Literature after Wole Soyinka, a Nigerian won the prize in 1986.
