The visitation panel set up by President Muhammadu Buhari to look into the crisis that rocked the University of Lagos has indicted the Vice Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe. Nigeria is said to have lost N247.61 billion to Twitter ban in 100 days. The Federal Government had on June 4 suspended Twitter after the social media platform deleted a tweet by President Muhammadu Buhari. In six months, no fewer than 640 people who were fully vaccinated died from COVID-19 in England, accounting for one per cent of deaths, new figures have shown. Of the 51,281 people who died of the virus from January 2 to July 2, some 38,964 were unvaccinated, while a tiny proportion had received two doses, according to Office for National Statistics (ONS) Monday, September 13 publication. Suspected gunmen have freed more than 240 inmates from the Medium Security Custodial Centre (MSCC) in Kabba, Kogi State. Kabba Centre was established in 2008 with a capacity of 200 inmates. The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) spokesman, Mr Francis Enobore confirmed the incident in a press release on Monday, stating that the attack took place at about midnight on Sunday.
