A 39-year-old man, Nkanyazi Collin Ndlovu, was sentenced by the Durban High Court in Scottburgh, South Africa, to three terms of life imprisonment and 14 years imprisonment for the m8rders and attempted m8rder of his family members. Akwa Ibom Government has disbursed more than N400 million to 1,076 beneficiaries dealing on farm, trade, and other businesses in Eket Federal Constituency. A 45-year-old man, Udeme Sunday Uko, was shot d3ad while sleeping with his family in a church in Ikot Okusung village, Ukanafun Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, August 4, 2025.
