The gruesome murder of Miss Iniubong Umoren, a 26-year-old Philosophy graduate of the University of Uyo by a serial rapist has sparked protests and solidarity marches in Akwa Ibom and across some parts of the country. The Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning has denied withholding funds budgeted for the Nigerian Army. The Ministry, which stated that the funds were released at the right time, said N1trillion had been released to the Nigerian Army from 2019 to April 2021. A 25-year-old woman from Mali gave birth to nonuplets- five girls and four boys- in Morocco on Tuesday, May 4, according to the country’s health ministry. Mali’s government flew Halima Cisse to Morocco for better care on March 30. She was initially believed to have been carrying septuplets, according to ultrasounds conducted in Morocco and Mali.
