Yinka Odumakin, National Publicity Secretary of the pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere, is dead. Odumakin died at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital COVID-19 Isolation Centre. The Nigerian Air Force has spit at claims by Boko Haram sect that it brought down the missing Alpha jet on Wednesday, March 31. The sect members Friday, April 2, released a video claiming responsibility for bringing down the jet and beheading its pilot. However, the whereabouts of the missing jet still remains unknown. Fear of short-changing is gripping Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and customers of MTN in Nigeria following inability to recharge their lines with airtime and data via banks. US President Joe Biden revoked Donald Trump’s executive order sanctioning International Criminal Court officials, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement Friday. Blinken also said the State Department terminated another Trump-era policy to impose visa restrictions on certain ICC officials. “These decisions reflect our assessment that the measures adopted were inappropriate and ineffective,” he said.
