About 58 percent of Nigerian households reduced their food consumption from July to December 2020 to cope with shocks of COVID-19, National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) survey has stated. The South East Governors Forum, Thursday, said there was no land for ranching in the region. The governors through the forum’s chairman, Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, explained that there would be no land for ranching among the states in the region as contained in the National Livestock Transformation Plan, NLTP of the Federal Government. Suspected gunmen have abducted many female students of Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in Mando area of Kaduna State, a fourth major school abduction in one month in Nigeria. This is the fourth case of students kidnap from school in recent times after it had happened in Kankara, Kagara and Jangebe towns all for north-western Nigeria.
