The United Kingdom Government has pledged to return £4.2 million funds recovered from friends and family members of convicted former Delta State governor, James Ibori to Nigerian government.  Ibori was governor of Delta State from 1999-2007. Nigeria experienced N7.37 trillion foreign trade deficit in 2020, National Bureau of Statistics declared on Monday. The NBS stated in its ‘Foreign trade statistics report for fourth quarter of 2020’ that the total trade in 2020 stood at N32.42 trillion. “The annual merchandise trade deficit in 2020 was recorded at N7.37 trillion,” the NBS said.
