Seven personnel perished in the military aircraft that crashed in Abuja on Sunday, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed. The military aircraft, Beechcraft King Air B350i, crashed at Bassa Airport Village on Sunday morning, February 21, after reporting engine failure. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has lifted the ban on Boeing 737 Max Aircraft in the airspace following two accidents involving the aircraft model. Its Director General, Captain Musa Nuhu who stated this at the weekend said the aircraft type has consequently been granted approval to operate in the airspace effective February 12, 2021. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 rose slightly in Ontario Friday, with 1,228 new cases reported Saturday by Ontario Health. However, the number of resolved cases also increased by 1,313. There were 28 more deaths attributed to the pandemic. Ontario’s hot spots continue to be Toronto (with 331 more cases), Peel Region (228) and York Region (132).
