The Federal Government has disbursed N27 billion to Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as part of the MSMEs Survival Fund Scheme. Briefing newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, Amb. Mariam Katagum, Minister of State, Industry, Trade and Investment, said that government would also roll out the last two schemes that make up the Survival Fund. Two siblings were, Wednesday, arraigned before Magistrate Court in Enugu over an allegation of murder of a make-up artist. The court heard that Chiamaka reportedly lured Ijeoma Neke by inviting her for a make-up job. The international oil benchmark, Brent crude, rose more than two per cent on Tuesday, hitting a 12-month high after major crude producers showed they were reining in output roughly in line with their commitments. Brent crude, against which Nigeria’s oil is priced, was up $1.27, or 2.3 per cent, at $57.62 a barrel by 1320 GMT, its third straight day of gains and the highest levels since late February last year, according to Reuters.
