A Nigerian man, who escaped the ravaging COVID-19 in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States of America flew home to meet untimely death in the kidnappers’ den. Prince Eloniyo Dennis Abuda who came into the country for the Christmas celebration was abducted alongside some family members on Saturday, January 30, 2021, along the Benin-Akure road on his way to Lagos from Fugar, Etsako Central Local Government Area near Agbanikaka. Topfaith University, Mkpatak in Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State and 19 private universities in Nigeria have gotten the Federal Government’s nod to operate officially. The Federal Executive Council (FEC), Wednesday, approved the establishment of 20 new private universities in Nigeria at the meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari. A 97-year-old bed-ridden woman suffered serious burns, but a neighbour carried her to safety through the flames as her home was razed in Ban Kruat district on Wednesday afternoon.
