Nigeria recorded 685 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the total confirmed cases to 131,242, NCDC confirmed. On the other hand, Nigeria recorded eight new deaths from the pandemic bringing the total number of deaths to 1,586 in the country. Police in Kano have arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly stabbing his ex-wife, and her brother, minutes after a Sharia Court in Rano had terminated their marriage. The Cross River Government has destroyed a brothel allegedly used by underage persons for prostitution. The government also demolished a building belonging to a suspected kidnapper.
