A 28-year-old woman has been arrested over the alleged death of two men in her house in East London, police said. The men who were found seriously injured at the property in Tavistock Gardens, Ilford, on Sunday morning, died at the scene, said the Metropolitan Police. The woman, who had life-threatening injuries, was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital for treatment. A Taser was deployed during her arrest, the force said. Nigeria’s COVID-19 new cases have surged to 1,585 with eight deaths within 24 hours. Of the number recorded in 25 states including Federal Capital Territory, Lagos State is still the epicenter with 573, followed by FCT with 182 and Plateau with 162 cases.
