An executive committee member of  Nigeria Football Federation has died at the age of 61. He was Emmanuel Ibah from Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. Ibah, who was the NFF coordinator for the South-South zone, was also the Akwa Ibom football association chairman until his death. Henceforth, students involved in examination malpractice will be barred from taking the West African Senior School Certificate Examination. In a communique released after the meeting, the West African Examinations Council has approved this sanction and other sanctions at the 70th meeting of the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) of the council held from Thursday to Saturday last week in Lagos.
