Nigerian music sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reached an agreement to settle out of court over the breach of contract lawsuit filed against him by the Amaju Pinnick-led Brownhill Investment Company Limited. In October 2023, a former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, called out Davido for not fulfilling his performance obligations at an event in Warri, Delta State, despite receiving $94,600. Brownhill Investments Company Limited filed the suit marked EHC/183/2023 before the Delta State High Court in Effurun. The Department of State Services (DSS), Akwa Ibom Command says it bust kidnapping ring and apprehended four kidnap suspects in the raid at the weekend. Already, the four suspects have been arraigned before a court of law for trial.
