The suspension was announced in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Emmanuel Ekuwem, in Uyo on Friday. Akwa Ibom State, Thursday, recorded 17 fresh COVID-19 cases as Nigeria’s infections from the virus inched closer to the 35,000 mark.
