The Nigerian government has blocked the online platforms of Binance and other crypto firms to avert what it considers continuous manipulation of the forex market and illicit movement of funds. Sources within the major telecommunication companies in the country told PREMIUM TIMES Wednesday evening that the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) communicated the directive to telcos and they had started acting on it. Nigerian lawyer, Mrs Adachukwu Okafor, who allegedly abused her 11-year-old house help now Nigeria Police detention is to be arraigned in court. An Ondo State Magistrate Court has remanded a 19-year-old tailor, Adua Fatogun, in prison custody for stealing a pot of soup and other items worth N311,100. The suspect was said to have committed the offence on October 12, 2023, at about 9 a.m. at Ifeleye Street, Ayeyemi, Ondo town.
