To curb increasing banditry, Zamfara State government has announced the immediate suspension of some traditional rulers over alleged connivance with bandits in the state. A former serial killer nurse has been convicted of murdering at least 85 patients at two hospitals in northern Germany and handed a life sentence. Judge Sebastian Buehrmann described Niels Högel’s killing spree as “incomprehensible”.
