Beyoncé has finally won the coveted “Album of the Year” award at the 67th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, becoming the most-awarded artist in Grammys history, with 35 trophies.

Her eighth studio album, “Cowboy Carter,” which celebrates the Black roots of country music, earned her the top prize after years of being passed over in the category.

Moreover, Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems was among the winners at the 67th Grammy Awards held on Sunday, at the Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, United States of America.

The event, hosted by Trevor Noah for the 50th year, honoured 2024’s top breakout stars, chart-topping hits, and fan-favourite artists.
