Senator Godswill Akpabio, Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, has sent an emotional message to his wife on her birthday, “Happy birthday to the Angel that lights up my life. It is the anniversary of your birth, and my life will have no meaning without you in it.”
Akpabio who celebrated his wife, Unoma Ekaette who clocked 49 on June 9 tweeted “Happy birthday my jewel of inestimable value. May the grace of God continue to dwell in your life today and forever. Amen.”
Unoma was born on June 9, 1971 to the family of late Godwin and Beatrice Nkemdilim Ejike of Ozom Aguobu-Owa, Ezeagu local government area, Enugu State.
From Zik Avenue Primary School, she proceeded to City Girls Secondary School, both in Enugu; and later Abia State University, Uturu where she earned a degree in Education and Accounting.
She is married to Akpabio, who is also an ex-Akwa Ibom Governor from Essien Udim local government area of the state, and the marriage is blessed with four lovely girls and a boy.
For 49 years on earth, Mrs Akpabio a devout Catholic has lived a compassion-soaked life. Some call her Mother Teresa; others prefer Dorcas, Mkpouto or even Florence Nightingale.
