    Birthdays: Eno celebrates two Akwa Ibom legal Icons

     Two legal icons from Akwa Ibom who marked their birth anniversaries simultaneously on April 12 were celebrated by Akwa Ibom Governor, Pastor Umo Eno.

    They are Rt. Hon. Sir Justice Ntong Festus Nnannah Ntong, Justice of the Court of Appeal and the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Uko Udom, SAN.

    While Justice Ntong from Iwukem in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area marked 62 years, Mr. Udom from Ikot Akpanya in Asuna, Etinan Local Government Area celebrated his milestone 70th birthday.

    In a goodwill message by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno prayed for Justice Ntong Ntong’s continued wisdom, good health, and strength for the jurist as he continues in his service to the nation.

    “On behalf of the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State, I join your family, colleagues in the Judiciary, and friends to wish you a happy birthday.

    “As you mark your birthday today, I pray that God grants you more wisdom, strength, and good health as you continue to serve in the temple of justice.

    “Happy birthday once again, Your Lordship!”

    Also, Governor Eno joined family, colleagues, friends and well-wishers in celebrating Mr. Uko Udom.

    In a goodwill message released on his behalf by his Chief Press Secretary, Udoh, Governor Eno commended the Attorney General for his professionalism, loyalty, and steadfast support, noting that his dedication to duty has continued to add value to governance in the State.

    The Governor further applauded his abiding faith in the ARISE Agenda, describing him as a trusted partner in the collective drive for the continuous development of Akwa Ibom State.
