President Muhammadu Buhari plans to address a joint session of the National Assembly on Thursday, December 10, the Presidency has confirmed.
Recall that last week, members of the House of Representatives demanded President Buhari to appear before the house to brief the lawmakers on measures his administration has put in place to tackle the rising insecurity cases.
A tweet posted by President’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, on Monday evening December 7, said that the President will meet with the lawmakers.
“FireFLASHFire, FireFLASHFire President @MBuhari will address a joint session of the National Assembly (@nassnigeria) on Thursday 10th December 2020,” she tweeted.
