President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday evening mourned with the government and people of Lagos State over the tanker fire incident.
The incident that occurred Thursday when a 33,000-litre tanker loaded with fuel exploded on Otedola Bridge along Lagos/Ibadan expressway, roasting many persons to death and razing more than 67 vehicles.
In a Twitter handle, Buhari also sympathised with the victims of he sad incident, and prayed God to comfort the people who lost their loved ones.
“The entire country mourns with you,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Atiku Abubakar, the former vice President wrote in his Twitter ‘’My thoughts are with fellow Nigerians who have lost lives and property in the tanker fire in Lagos.’’
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora wrote in her handle “Our prayers with families who lost loved ones in the Lagos tanker explosion. So sad!
