Hilda Baci has felicitated an Irish Chef, new Guinness World Record title in longest marathon cooking claimed to have been won by an individual.
Earlier Tuesday, November 7, the Guinness World Record announced that Alan Fisher, from Ireland, is now the record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
Though Fisher clocked in a time of 119 hours 57 minutes, more than 24 hours longer than previous record holder Hilda Baci, the Irish chef’s effort in grabbing the title did not receive elaborate publicity.

He also went on to immediately break the record for the longest baking marathon by an individual.
Fisher baked for 47 hours 21 minutes, beating previous record holder Wendy Sandner, an American who broke the record with a time of 31 hours 16 minutes.
Alan took on both attempts back to back, according to Guinness World Record. Meaning “he was at work in the kitchen for over 160 hours with just over a day of rest in between.”
Hilda who previously held the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual reacted on Twitter.
She congratulated Fisher, saying it is an honour for her to have held the title.
She tweeted: “Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder!”
“I’m so happy to have held a record so prestigious and profound I will forever be honored and grateful for all the love and support.”
