A Magistrate Court in Uyo Magisterial District of Akwa Ibom State granted bail to Senior Legislative Assistant to the Nigerian Senate President and a licensed surveyor on Wednesday, April 24.

The Akwa Ibom Police Command arrested and detained Ubokobong Udoworen, an aide to the Senate President and Mr. Akanimo Udom Udondon, a licensed surveyor over alleged ‘raising of false alarm’ on Monday, April 22, 2024.

Recall that Udoworen is the APC Youth Leader in Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District and a Senior Legislative Assistant to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio while Udom is his cousin, all from Ukanafun Local Government Area of the state.

However, the State Commissioner of Police being the Complainant dragged Ubokobong Ime ‘M’, 40 and Akanimo Udom Udondon, ‘M’, 41, being Defendants, before the court on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
