A Magistrate Court in Uyo Magisterial District of Akwa Ibom State granted bail to Senior Legislative Assistant to the Nigerian Senate President and a licensed surveyor on Wednesday, April 24.

The Akwa Ibom Police Command arrested and detained Ubokobong Udoworen, an aide to the Senate President and Mr. Akanimo Udom Udondon, a licensed surveyor over alleged ‘raising of false alarm’ on Monday, April 22, 2024.

Recall that Udoworen is the APC Youth Leader in Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District and a Senior Legislative Assistant to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio while Udom is his cousin, all from Ukanafun Local Government Area of the state.
