The Afrobeats star made an appearance on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his fourth studio album, Timeless while marking the eve of his birthday.

He made a successful comeback to the music scene with his album Timelines, accumulating over a billion streams and earning a Grammy nomination.

Following the successful debut of his Away Festival in Atlanta, The DMW boss performed a spirited medley of his two most reviving singles to date from his Grammy-nominated album, Timeless, Feel and Unavailable.

The album received three nominations for Best Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Global Music Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

Davido expressed his affirmation that delay is not denial, especially after witnessing his contemporaries, Burna Boy and Wizkid, being recognized by the academy.

The singer also received honor from the US, as a day in Houston, Texas was dedicated to him following his sold-out concert.

The Mayor of Houston declared July 7 as “Davido’s Day,” acknowledging his significant contributions to the music industry. Additionally, he was honored by the Federal Government with the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) award.

To add to his joy, Davido and his wife, Chioma Rowland Adeleke, welcomed twins, bringing happiness after the loss of their son, Ifeanyi.

The rumors were fueled by Davido’s song and a tweet before the news was confirmed with a video of the couple leaving the hospital with their twins.
