The former Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Nsima Ekere, is cooling his feet in the custody of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The Commission’s spokesperson Wilson Uwajaren who confirmed it to journalists on Wednesday.
Ekere is said to have diverted the over N47 billion through registered contractors using registered contractors of the NDDC.
The former NDDC boss was the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Akwa Ibom in the 2019 general elections.
